About 10 km from Venice as the crow flies, Camping Village Mediterraneo is only a short trip away from this marvellous city and its magical thousand-year-old history.

The surrounding lagoon is a unique wetland environment with emerged shoals, fishing valleys, canals and a multitude of fascinating islands like Murano, Burano and Torcello.

From our tourist village you can reach Venice in forty minutes. The ferry boat sets out from the pier in Punta Sabbioni to arrive in the beautiful San Marco Square. Being so close to the magical city of Venice is another added value of our Camping Village Mediterraneo!

You can reach the historic city centre any moment of the day and be surrounded by the locals, who only move on foot, to appreciate the artistic and architectural beauties of this one-of-a-kind city at their best!

Getting Around

From Camping Village Mediterraneo, at the heart of the Cavallino Treporti peninsula, you can easily get to Venice and visit the beautiful spots of the Veneto region thanks to Atvo scheduled bus service and Actv motor boats.

Camping Village Mediterraneo is the ideal place for you to set off every day and reach:

Venice and Treviso airports, with a “door to door” service

As of May 2019, the airports of Venice and Treviso are directly connected to the Village thanks to an efficient bus service . On your return home, you can board the bus at the bus stop right outside the campsite and get back to the airport. Tickets can be purchased online here.

Venice, St. Mark’s square

With the “Quickly – Easy Venice Bus&Boat” service you can get to the historic centre of Venice with a single ticket that includes the bus journey from Via Fausta to Punta Sabbioni and the motor boat journey from Punta Sabbioni to San Zaccaria, near St. Mark’s Square.

Venice and lagoon islands

Running every day every thirty minutes, Atvo “door to door” bus service takes you to the Punta Sabbioni Lagoon terminal, where you can board a boat to Venice and the wonderful lagoon islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello.

Shopping at McArthur Glen Outlet

From Camping Village Mediterraneo to the best shopping experience! Thanks to Atvo’s regular shuttle service you can get to the renowned McArthur Glen Outlet di Noventa di Piave shopping village where you can find designer’s clothes and accessories at extremely convenient prices! For this journey, you will have to change bus just once at the bus station in Jesolo Lido.

The Laguniamo project: Venice lagoon by boat and kayak.

Laguniamo offers the opportunity to admire the lagoon from an unusual perspective through kayak outings, ELECTRIC and MOTOR boat tours.
Thanks to the collaboration with our best partners, we organise accompanied trips in the morning and at sunset and in the evening, nature outings, private tours, birthday parties, team building, bachelor/bachelorette parties, electric boat rides through the park of Cavallino Treporti, canoe rental and the possibility of a kayak tour with bike tour.
